Nahoko Sanami started teaching cooking classes about 4 years ago in 2017 after going to Asian culinary school for a few years.
Being located in Tokyo, about 20 minutes outside of the city center, Nahoko started off with in-person classes that she hosted inside of her kitchen.
Most of her customers, that would come and take her classes were Americans who were traveling abroad to Tokyo.
However once the pandemic shut everything down in March of 2020, Nahoko had to bring her classes online.
Nahoko now hosts classes over Zoom right from her kitchen. It was great talking to Nahoko and learning about her classes and how she got started.
